Show Notes

When does the college counseling process start at Parker? How are students guided into applying to the right colleges for them? In this episode of Parker Podcast, meet two members from the college counseling department and learn about what makes the college admissions process at Parker unique. Terri Devine, Dean of College Counseling, and Bob Hurley, Director of College Counseling, have been at Parker since 2005. In addition to high school counseling, both have served in roles at the college level, with Terri as the Director of Mainland Admission for Hawaii Pacific University, and Bob as the Assistant Director of Admissions for Fairfield University. In 2015 Terri was selected to participate in the White House convening for higher education and led discussions on college access and college counseling. Through the First Lady’s Reach Higher Initiative, Terri works with college professionals from around the country to increase college readiness.
